The class is based upon
a lecture type format with a strong
emphasis on the class interactive
component. A class booklet will be
handed out on the first day
of class. We go over the major systems
for example cardiology,pulmonology, GI,
GU, hepatobiliary, musculoskeletal,
endocrine, psychiatry, EKGs, ABGs, and
radiology. The primary goal is that we
go over the
CONCEPTS OF MEDICINE
I am a strong
believer that there is no way a student
can prepare for the boards by taking a 2
day weekend review class or by studying
material on the internet.
It may work
for some but I am"Old School"and
believe that the only way to prepare
is by spreading out the material and
presenting it in an interactive open
format. This format has worked well for
the last 21
years.
