19th, 26th, August 2nd, 9th,
16th from
10am-4pm
and this class will be geared
for
the senior students and
recertification PAs taking the
boards in August, September, or
October of 2008.

We will
start off with Cardiology and
Pulmonology
The class
occupancy is 35 and
when it is full no more students
will be allowed. The class is
held in a clubhouse in Irvine,
California.

receipt and a picture ID on the first

What is the class about? |
| The class is based upon
a lecture type format with a strong
emphasis on the class interactive
component. A class booklet will be
handed out on the first day of class. We go over the major systems
for example cardiology, pulmonology, GI,
GU, hepatobiliary, musculoskeletal,
endocrine, psychiatry, EKGs, ABGs, and
radiology. The primary goal is that we
go over the CONCEPTS OF MEDICINE
I am a strong
believer that there is no way a student
can prepare for the boards by taking a 2
day weekend review class or by studying
material on the internet.
It may work
for some but I am "Old School" and
believe that the only way to prepare is
by spreading out the material and
presenting it in an interactive open
format. The class time is spread out
over several weeks so students can
digest the material at their own rate
and return back with questions. This
format has worked well for the last 15
years.
